Yesterday, the Disability Awareness Players went to Synchrony Financial in Chicago to train its staff. Not only was everyone actively engaged, but we also received a $2000 grant check to support our work!  Staff learned about sighted guiding, person-first language and best practices for engaging customers and employees who have disabilities.  Here is what one audience member had to say about the experience:

Also, the Disability Awareness Players learned about disability-aware practices at Synchrony, from efforts to make sure their technology is accessible to employing people with disabilities.  Thanks to all who participated and attended, and we look forward to the next training!
