I wanted to take a moment to thank Search and JJ’s List for the opportunity to be a part of the team. I am starting my student teaching in January, the last step to become a certified music teacher for the public schools. I am very excited to be finishing up my studies and eager to have my own classroom. It’s been a long road. It’s a bittersweet time for me, though. My student teaching is full-time which means sadly I will be leaving this wonderful team.
Some participants of No Boundaries who already know about my leaving have expressed their gratitude for my help. I want to take a moment to say every single one of you has taught me a lot as well. Having the opportunity to be a trainer at No Boundaries has given me a chance to put into practice what it means to be creative in the learning process. Of course music teaching will be different and has it’s own set of challenges but everything I have learned from everyone here I can and will use to be a better teacher in my own classroom.
It has been a blast getting to know each of you and seeing each one of you grow. I am so proud of all of the hard work everyone has done. I feel very honored to be a small part of your journey to independence.
This is not a goodbye. I will still be around. I hope that everyone stays in touch and I wish everyone all the best. Thanks again for a wonderful year! I will miss you all!

Nura,
Best of luck to you as you move on to student teaching and then to your own classroom. I enjoyed collaborating with you and JJ on the work of the Disability Awareness Players. I hope our paths will cross again in the future.
Nura,

JJ
