Morton Arboretum Discovers the Nature of Disability Awareness Training

Posted by on November 15, 2016 - 1 Comment

Thanks to a grant from the Reva and David Logan Foundation, the Disability Awareness Players successfully trained the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL to become disability aware the other day. Those in attendance were very engaged, and we received a lot of positive feedback. Here is what one participant had to say:

“I liked the interaction with employees and JJ’s volunteers. I think that made everyone comfortable. Additionally, the skits helped to know better what to do in certain situations. Thank you!”

We look forward to the next training and thank you Logan Foundation!IMG_2426

The Morton Arboretum Disability Awareness Training was excellent! It’s a great place! The people in the audience were very enthusiastic and willing to ask questions and volunteer in the training! They clearly learned a lot from the training! I was pleased the audience was so engaged in the training! I hope to go back to visit the Arboretum someday in the near future!
