I have been bringing my transition class to Yorktown mall for the food-court for years because of the variety of choices. Currently the food-court is under renovation and the only two restaurants that are available are Subway and Sbarros and I think that because of these limited choices the restaurants have raised their prices. This may be capitalism but it was terrible for my class. I think that other school programs that use Yorktown as a teaching opportunity should be aware. The Med drink at Sbarro ($2.50) was the same size as the small drink at Subway ($1.89) but there was a significant difference in price. The refills were outrageous- .49 at Subway and .89 at Sbarro. Hopefully this information helps.
