Our family shops at the local Walmart for several reasons. Most important, because their staff is always welcoming and non-judgemental towards our daughter, who can get loud and disruptive at times in the store if she's feeling overwhelmed. One checkout person looked beyond us in line, and said to the person behind us, Don't worry she's doing the best she can'. The other reason we choose to shop at this Walmart is because one of their greeters, Craig, is wonderful and always puts a smile on our faces. He happens to use a wheelchair, too, so we know that this location is disability-friendly. There are other stores in the area that might be a little cleaner or nicer merchanidise (Target, Meier, etc) but we choose Walmart because they are disability-friendly!
