Dr. Jacqueline Duke (FKA Dr. Jacqueline Cesaroni) is an Illinois-Licensed Clinical Psychologist and graduate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology (M.A., Psy.D.) and the University of Michigan (B.A.). Her independent practice offers therapy and psychological assessment services to individuals, families, and groups. Services are available for all-ages, and Dr. Duke offers a sliding scale payment option.

Dr. Duke has become one of the leading private practitioners in the treatment and assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) by staying at the forefront of the latest research in the comprehensive treatment of ASD. Her post-doctoral training was based on the SCERTS Model, an empirically supported, family-centered orientation to assisting individuals affected by various developmental disorders. Dr. Duke completed additional specialty training in the development of intervention techniques based in Social Thinking™. These interventions are designed to prepare higher-functioning children and adolescents experiencing social communication distress with the discrete social skills required to initiate and maintain peer relationships in their community. Dr. Duke is also certified in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale, Second Edition (ADOS-2), the highest standard in psychological testing instruments for diagnosing ASD.

Prior to starting her private practice, Dr. Duke trained and worked with clients of all-ages in a variety of clinical settings across the Chicagoland area. Her previous work settings include: inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient behavioral health hospitals, community mental health centers, substance abuse support teams, state forensic centers, and therapeutic day schools. Dr. Duke's academic work includes assistant teaching at a Master’s level University program and offering private tutoring services for graduate students.

Dr. Duke’s independent research and passions led her to explore alternative avenues of proactive healthcare such as nutrition, detoxification, and nutraceutical intervention. Her therapies for coping with chronic illness offer biofeedback interventions that utilize heart rate variance (HRV) to assist in achieving emotional regulation without pharmaceutical intervention.

Dr. Duke has been a board member with the Illinois Psychological Association and continues to be an active member of the American Psychological Association. Her volunteer work includes supervising the mentoring program of the HEAR Foundation Scholarship recipients.
