We have been members of First Congregational Church for 17 years. The congregation was extremely supportive at the time of my son's diagnosis 15 years ago, and have embraced him since. Second to school, church is his favorite place to go. Through the years, the church has organized volunteers and donated missions $ to Little Friends, encouraged inclusion in Sunday School and youth disability awareness programs, provided space and vocational training for a summer camp for teens with dev. disabilities, and partnered with Naperville Central High School as a vocational training site. As parents, we've spearheaded most of these endeavors, but FCC has supported our efforts every step of the way.
