As a parent of a teenager with a disability, my "disability awareness" antennae are often engaged when I'm out in the community. I recently observed several groups of individuals with disabilities having lunch on the patio at Moretti's Edison Park location. From where I sat, it appeared that they were being treated with respect and they were wheelchair accessible. One group seemed to be a party or gathering of at least 5-6 people with visible disabilities. Maybe this would be a good training site (for community restaurant outings) for a transition program.
