Our son, who is on the autism spectrum, participated in HAVE Dreams programs for a few years when he was younger, and I have followed the organization's progress in the years since then. Founded by parents and professionals, HAVE Dreams is one of the most effective organizations anywhere that serves children, adolescents and young adults on the spectrum. The staff is competent and compassionate; the organization is in a beautiful space, and is always innovating and improving its programs to adapt to the newest research on effective interventions for those with ASD. While there has been a waiting list for the past few years, HAVE Dreams recently opened a new site in Evanston. If you are the parent of a child on the spectrum, you should explore HAVE Dreams!
