Dr. Schwartz is a great dentist, and his hygienist is wonderful also. I have an allergy to latex, and Dr. Schwartz always has nonlatex gloves around so that I don't have a reaction. I also have anxiety when I go to the dentist, but he is very accomodating. In the beginning, he prescribed a low dose of Valium for me to take before appointments, and when I discovered that listening to my music while he worked on me helped decrease my anxiety, he let me do that so that I could stop getting the Valium. I have trouble opening my mouth wide for the bite wings for x-rays because I gag easily, and that also makes me nervous, but the hygienist is very patient with me and lets me calm down before she tries again. They are also very helpful when I transfer from my wheelchair to the dentist's chair. Everyone is very friendly and I have a great relationship with the receptionist as well. She knows me on the phone by my first name. I recommend Dr. Schwartz to anyone who has these issues.
