I took my teenage son to a free car clinic today at the Duxler location in Northbrook. I usually go to the station in Wilmette because I like the complimentary full-service they offer there, but the Northbrook location doesn't sell gas.

My son and I learned a lot during the car clinic. Duxler is a great disability-aware and community-involved business. I would not hesitate to bring my car to them for a repair in the future.

I love this place! They are friendly and welcoming every time I stop for gas. What could be better, a bunch of guys surrounding your car and taking care of servicing it: Filling the gas, windshield wiper fluid, checking the oil & tires, cleaning your windows, you name it and they'll do it! Do you pay extra? No! Their prices are competitive. I never have to leave my car AND they say thank you and good bye with the gift of a yummy piece of candy!

Our agency Employment Specialists Sarah and David visited the store on August 21, 2009 and spoke with Patrick Rooney one of the managers. Patrick knows sign language and communicates with many of the customers who are deaf. This is an excellent shop where individuals who are deaf can get their auto repaired. Patrick showed a willingness to hire persons who are deaf as soon as business improves. The company has five locations. They gave our company representatives an excellent reception and we plan on visiting the company again soon. David had a pair of wiper blades replaced in less than 5 minutes and the service was great.
