There were but 5 of us at the Classic Cup for lunch. My brother ordered the vegetable soup with a salad, my wife the chicken salad. brother’s order arrived, he was given another soup with the explanation that they were out of the vegetable soup. He had to reorder. My order came with all of the ingredients “glued” together with melted cheese thus requiring me to eat it with a fork instead of enjoying each item as a sandwich as it would normally have been. My wife’s chicken salad order and my brother’s second choice arrived dry. the bill came with an 18% tip automatically applied. This for a party of five? We will not be returning to the Classic Cup, and will make it a point to encourage others not to patronize the establishment. It is too bad because this use to be a fine establishment.
