Great!
Great!

I also attended this museum event a couple of days ago and had a fun time. The presenters knocked it out of the park. Everybody with whom I interacted that day was wonderful. In addition, I love history so this was a good day for me to come.

Disability Awareness:   Welcoming, Talked to me person-to-person, Asked me if I needed or wanted help, Friendly, Gave me choices, Gave me extra time, Respectful, Helpful when I needed assistance or accommodation, Flexible service, Physically accessible, Other, Accessible Parking, website okay for accessibility but a few issues. Currently testing it out.

Great!
Great!

I really enjoyed the training at the Chicago History Museum! The training was a huge success! I felt we did the presentation not only to inform people about disabilties, but we did it through a demonstration and role plays with humor and enthusiasm. I appreciated that the people were very welcoming and were very engaged in the training. The audience was very involved in the training which made the training a success. I was glad I got to meet with people after the training! Also, the Dunkin Donuts were delicious!

Disability Awareness:   Welcoming, Talked to me person-to-person, Asked me if I needed or wanted help, Friendly, Gave me choices, Respectful, Helpful when I needed assistance or accommodation, Flexible service, Physically accessible, Parking could be better. There are not many available parking spots. It would also make the museum more convenient for people with disabilities if there are more accessible parking spots. But overall, the staff was very welcoming and friendly!
