I attended an event here this afternoon. The library is very spacious, and all staff I met were great. In addition, this library does have some assistive technology as I found out from one of the staff members I met.

We use a lot of the area libraries because each has its own special features that we appreciate, but we find the Glenview Library to be outstanding in so many ways. The children's department staff is especially helpful, supportive and flexible. The Library is very community-oriented, and has a vast array of programming for every age and every interest. We're looking forward to trying their electronic gaming night for teens that's coming up (I think it runs monthly, and you don't have to be a Glenview resident to participate, but you must pre-register). The Library does have people with disabilities working there...not sure if they're paid or volunteer. While the current building does offer many accommodations and supports for people with disabilities, I'm sure the new building now under construction will be many times more accessible.

Regarding the Glenview library, I hear they have "video game nights" on some Saturdays, beginning at around 5 p.m. including food. This was highly recommended by another parent of a child with special needs. Those of us with "gaming" kids and teens love places that not only accept our kids but provide a "hook" for socialization, such as videogames. I'm gonna check this one out for sure!
This library is a wonderful and welcoming place for children, adults and families. The library staff is very helpful and there are a variety of programs and books that parents can access for their children with disabilities. I have found the staff to be very supportive, patient and helpful with my child when he participates in their programming or requests information about books or resources. They also have an extensive audiobook collection which has been very useful for my child.
