Visited Watermark just to pass out flyer regarding fundraiser for non-profit organization. An elderly woman (the owner?) came up to me, I asked if manager was available, she sarcastically replied "who needs a manager?". I said I had flyer to give and just rudely barked "we're not interested", refused it or even let me explain before jumping to conclusion. I tried to explain I wasn't expecting a donation, but just an offer/opportunity to participate. She could at least been polite, accepted flyer, looked it over, decided at later date. It's important to remember "it's not what you say, it's how you say it". She was so nasty, treated me the worst by anyone in retail in a long time. She made me so frustrated/upset that my reaction may have not been the best. How did she know I wasn't about to spend a fortune there?
