Terrible!
Terrible!

Most disabled people use identity first language, including myself. My disability has shaped every single life experience, and I have never been a non-disabled person. This place uses the disabled people as poster products. It’s nice if a place has disabled workers, but it’s more important that you listen to disabled people and compensate them as if they are not disabled.

I've been involved with JJ's List for about 2 years now, and I believe this is a fantastic organization! I love how there are plenty of opportunities for people with disabilities to learn about how to get a job and live independently. I also like how the organization helps businesses and organizations connect through both the site on which I'm writing and the Disability Awareness Trainings. I'm so glad I discovered this organization, and I'm very glad to be a part of it.

When I first came in, everyone greeted me with smiles, making me feel welcomed. Nura, the trainer, taught me how to succeed in a business place, how to greet others, and how to write professional emails. Therefore, I learned the difference on how to write an email to a friend and a co-worker/boss. I hope to come again and learn more

Growing up in a small town and I felt like I was one of of the only kids with learning disabilities. To have a website dicated to making businesses more aware of people with diabilities is such a cool thing. One bececause it's so helpful for me to know which businesses are more aware of people with disabilities. But second because I think it encourages businesses to want to learn about the issues and corncerns that people with diabilities have to deal with in their daily life.

The business description says it all. This is a website where people with and without disabilities can post their reviews of various businesses and services for disability awareness. The website is fully accessible, and customer service is wonderful! In addition to the website, JJ's List does other great things related to disability awareness such as speaking engagements and technology workshops.
