Not an auspicious start. No call from the driver the day before (co lied and said they called, not on my Caller ID log), driver was in the street during pickup (not driveway), my child had to enter the vehicle on the street side, no intro or anything from the driver. Called the company to discuss, Alex (owner) basically had a list of excuses and denials, actually blamed the fact on driver not pulling into the driveway on my husband who was leaving for work at the time (his car was parked in front of the house, not in the driveway). Hoping things improve, otherwise it's gonna be a long year.

Thanks to Alex and the gang over at CITICARE. They provided both my son and daughter with 3 goods years of service. They've always been there in a pinch and were especially flexible during our families time of need these past holidays. We're moving out of district now and would just like to recommend there services to anyone that needs transportation for their kids.

Mark was my driver to Bridgeview School in Niles. It was my first summer there and he made my trip from Vernon Hills to Bridgeview School very nice and easy. He said he'll be my driver again in the fall. THank you citicare.

My daughter was with CITICARE for all of last year. We were extremely happy with the service. We're glad to be back with them again after our districts little experiment. Someone at the district switched her to another cab company for the summer program in order to feel out this other company. During the first 2 weeks they were late 5 times and left my daughter at home in the driveway with no one there to let her in. After 6 phone calls, we're finally being put back on CITICARE's route. I'd like to thank them for helping me work things out with the district. It nice to know that my daughter will be safe again.

Rita has been driving our daughter for 3 years now and we've always been grateful for her patience. We're moving to Kansas now and Alex was nice enough to help us find a company to help us when we arrive. No company is perfect, but I'd recommend them to families like ours who need stability. Thank you Rita!

Citicare has been a great help with our families transportation needs. Rita has been driving our daughter for 3 years now. She has always been great with her. We're moving to Kansas now and will no longer be needing her services. Alex was nice enough to help us find a company to help us in Kansas when we get there. Thanks for always making our daughter smile.

We have used Citicare since last year when my son needed transportation to his school. Last year it was constant late drivers, or no drivers showing up. There was also an incident where my son was picked up by a driver and the driver went over 80 mph. When confronted with this, the company said my son was lying. We had no proof and could not press charges.
This year we have been battling the constant smoke in the cabs. My son developed asthma which he never had before. They would say the drivers don't smoke, then the driver would show up and smoke on my driveway. I also saw them smoking at pick up at school. The company response to all things is to deny, blame the child, or just lie. We are still battling. My son has severe anxiety and his biggest challenge is the cab.

Drunk driver brought my daughter home today. Company didn't care when I called to tell them (car reeked of alcohol, driver stumbling drunk and open bottle of vodka in the front passenger seat). Followed with calls to the police dept. and school district. The company's response was "its a borrowed car". So i guess then its OK if your driver is intoxicated?!?! And this after she got home after up to 1-1/2 hours late, 3 times in one week. They are terrible, and I will be adjusting my work schedule to make sure my daughter is safe.

Consistently late! Not a good way to teach punctuality and responsibility, particularly for students with special needs. Today, late again and noticed the driver speeding down the street to make up for lost time (and hitting a speed bump at high impact!) Not smart and not safe. Despite pleas from parent, emails and calls from school officials, they still can't get the route right. I could understand a couple of days of tardiness, but this is a consistent issue for us for about a week now. In fairness, last year was a better experience. I would recommend 303 Cab over Citicare and/or recommend that Citicare improve its routing and customer service. They seem responsive, yet the results just aren't there!

I take Citicare Taxi to The Cove School, a school for kids learning disabilities. I ride with a few other students and we've all taken that transportation to Cove. When I've taken Citicare to Cove, the driver, and the boss have been unfriendly. When the boss told me that he would call back the day before school around the evening, he never called back, so then I had to call him. On the first day of school, my cab driver got me late and his boss just got into some kind of argument with me. Another time, my cab driver was 25 minutes late to drive me to school. On the first day of school, my driver got me late and didn't care about it. I was 20 minutes late for school on the first day and I missed part of the morning assembly. The boss also said he was gonna pick up one more student, but ended up picking up three other students and they weren't home. The driver picked me up from school 20 minutes late and got me home an hour after school let out. The boss and some of the drivers are disrespectful and unfriendly to people with disabilities. Depending on what driver you have, if you need to get somewhere at a specific time, he'll get you late. Citicare Transportation isn't so much of a good transportation for people with disabilities.
