The Brothers K Coffeehouse was opened in 2005 by Brian and John Kim under the belief that the quality of life experienced by those who wake up every morning can be markedly enhanced by a cup of really good coffee. That means you.

Brian and John love getting to know their customers - to the point of becoming locked in an ongoing battle over who knows more customer names. Frequented by people from many walks of life, the shop has become a beloved neighborhood hang-out and a popular place to work for telecommuters and students.

The Brothers' commitment to using Fair Trade Organic and Direct Trade coffee contributes to the well-being of coffee growers as well as to the quality and sustainability of their crops.

My tutor Barry and I came here this morning after working out. This was only my second time at this place. Barry and I went up to the counter to order our things, and the barista helping us spoke directly to me. The place was rather packed, but we were able to find a good table and sit down to enjoy our late breakfast. The food we ordered was great.

I really enjoy going to the Brothers K Coffeehouse. I always find that they are patient, kind, and always eager to help me and whoever I am with. I would definitely reccommend them as a great coffeeshop in the Evanston area to frequent.

I also tried Brothers K Coffeehouse for the first time today, and found it to be a wonderful place. Great ambience, great coffee and snacks, and generous and friendly staff. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again, and will recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

The workers took time to listen to me. I was also part of the group that was with JJ today. They must have really liked usbecause they let me exchanged my drink.

A group of us from JJ's List were just at Brothers K Coffee House for some refreshments after doing some work for our upcoming fundraiser. When it was my turn to order, I told John the manager what I wanted. He talked directly to me and was very friendly. When he brought out my drink and handed it to the person I was with, she and I walked back outside to meet the rest of our group at a table. The food and drinks were quite yummy. The manager even posed with us for a picture earlier today.

The staff at Brothers K is patient and helpful to all customers, including those I have seen who have disabilities. Plus, their coffee is great and I love the design that they put into the foam of my cappucino. Thanks Brothers K!

I have been there many times. I really enjoy the atmosphere. They are very disability friendly, except some of the counters in there are too high for someone who uses a wheelchair. Also the door into the shop is a little hard to access alone from a wheelchair. I absolutely love the place, but would recommend maybe putting a table that is lower for people in chairs.
