We recently attended a Northbrook Symphony concert in the Sheely Center for the Performing Arts at Glenbrook North High School. The concert was wonderful! When I called to ask for specific seats for season tickets so that our son could sit in a place where he might be able to leave easily if he didn't want to stay for the whole performance, the gentleman who handles the tickets was very accommodating. I also inquired about the possibiity of young people with disabilities being able to attend Orchestra rehearsals, and he seemed open to that. In addition, the Orchestra is very community-oriented, and performs in schools and at community events.
