The Wilmette Theater is a wonderful entertainment venue for people of all ages who are fans of film, theater and other live performances. While the building itself is not new and modern, it is nonetheless charming. It is a ground-floor theater, and it is wheel-chair accessible, though I'm not sure about the bathrooms. An employee told me that some of their events attract a lot of seniors, some of whom use walkers, and they seem to be comfortable in the Theater.
The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a great place for those with unusual interests, such as silent films, live radio shows, etc. Live theater for kids too.
Disability Awareness:
Welcoming, Friendly, Respectful, Physically accessible, programs for those with special interests
