The owner helped me by showing me the layout of the skating rink since I am visually impaired. He also gave me a lesson on how to skate. He said he had helped other visually impaired individuals skate in the past. He encouraged me not to give up. The environment was great and very friendly. I was able to be more indepedent because of the open floor plan, and because the rink was not crowded. They allowed our class to rent out the entire facility and we had it all to ourselves. The owner was very accomodating to our group, especially when it came to ordering our lunch and choosing our skates. The experience made me feel good and we had a great time!
