Great!
Great!

A small and charming little diner with good food and friendly service. The owner and staff were welcoming, patient and accomodating. Mrs. D's hosts a group of special needs children from Wilmette Elementary Schools each month for eating out practice. The owner recognized my son (he'd only been there once) and remembered that he was a bit adverse to loud noises. Not much she could do about that in a busy diner, but I was so impressed that she remembered! Super friendly staff and quick service. We will be back to Mrs. D's for sure!

Great place, super friendly staff, often visited by the owner and treated with respect. This will be one of our "practice sites" for our son's adventure into the community (solo).

I could not agree more. I've been to Mrs. D's both when it was under previous ownership and during the current ownership. Each time I was treated with the utmost respect and dignity. I'm happy to report that the food quality has remained unchanged as well. I'm definitely going back to Mrs. D's Wilmette Diner!

Our family has visited the Diner 1-2x a week since it opened about 4 yrs. ago. Our daughter with a disability has always been treated with the greatest of respect and they have gone beyond accomodating us at the table that works best with her wheelchair. At almost every visit, one of the owners comes over to our table and "clowns around with all of us" but most of all wants to make sure we have been satisfied with the sevice. Their goodwill and interest in their customers comes from the Heart!
