Great!
Great!

Just a little update on the Perk...we are no longer selling wraps and salads from Cookers. We have outstanding sandwiches from Red Rooster and we do have some great store bought, prepared salads, along with Mac and cheese, hotdogs and pizza.
Noah is now working all day Wednesday and 1/2 days Fridays. Our hours have changed a bit...we are open Mon-Thurs 8 am - 3 pm, Fridays 8 am - 1 pm and Saturdays 9 am - 2 pm.
Come visit us. Lattes, cappuccinos, espressos and mochas are also new since we last reviewed the Perk!

The Perk Center Cafe was designed to train and employ individuals with developmental disabilities and to sell simple, but good food. They do all of this very well. The staff and employees are friendly and welcoming The customers are patient, supportive and appreciative of having a place to eat at the Center. The families that put this together have done a wonderful job. A great experience for my son, working the cash register and interacting with the customers and a great place to get a quick lunch.

Great place for breakfast, lunch or just a cup of excellent coffee (Seattle's Best). Run by and for adults with dd. Excellent quality food, healthy choices and fun to get to know/interact with the young adults who work there.

This little cafe in the Park Center, Glenview's premier recreational building, is a gem. The coffee, Seattle's Best is hot and great, terrific tea selection, fresh bagels, muffins, cookies and best of all, for lunch, the salads and wraps are prepared by Cookers, a wonderful better than fast food, fast food place in Deerfield.
The food is great, the service the best! The proprieters are fun and friendly and the staff, all of whom have developmental disabilities are becoming experts at their jobs! Don't miss it!
