I am a recent cancer patient and still recovering from chemo and radiation treatments. I also have fibromyalgia and am physically disabled. IKEA is *not* a very accommodating business for disabled persons. MASSIVELY HUGE store but no motorized shopping carts are available. Manual wheelchairs are available but with NO shopping cart/basket attached to put your items. Manual wheelchairs are virtually impossible to operate/wheel around in if you're physically disabled, in pain, and shopping alone. Most furniture items have NUMEROUS large and heavy boxes and while loading assistance to your car is offered, help on the floor is lacking. VERY slick concrete floor makes walking dangerous and pushing a cart on this surface is also very difficult as the cart drifts everywhere. Only 1 restroom located on top floor. Needs to be at least 2 restrooms per floor for a building this size.

Disability Awareness:   Unfriendly, Inflexible service, Disrespectful, Unwilling or unhelpful when I needed assistance or accommodations, Cannot bring cart to car without having to walk all the way down to the entrance. Exit is blocked off with barricades making it impossible for disabled persons to take the cart to the car to load their items. Store is MASSIVE in size and offers little a

the cashier in the restaurant was friendly and very patient. she did not rush us when paying but took time to help us.
