Yummy cherry sample. Couldn't help myself to it. The bakery was nice to get a cookie from the bakery. The lady was very nice. She was helpful with us. The supermarket had delicious food! Yummy!

The grocery store had really great healthy snacks. They had a variety of foods from all over the world. They had a variety of name brand, organic, and generic brand packaged food. The thing was it was an expensive grocery store. I liked the green smoothie better than the protein smoothie because it tasted like chalk and cardboard. The frozen pizzas were good and the deli and meat section were interesting. So were the food bars and buffets. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The last time I went to Whole Foods Market we bought some strawberries, and I sat in the store to eat them. We did not need any help that time, but anytime we ask for help the service is very nice. The people who work there are very friendly, and helpful. We didn’t have any problems when we were there. I really like this store, it is good. The people always smile and assist us when we have questions. They help us to find things we need in the store. The cashiers are always very friendly and helpful at checkout. This is also a good disability aware store, they treat everybody with respect.

The doors to Whole Foods are automatic and very wide. Its layout is clean, free of clutter, and easy to navigate. In addition, the staff at Whole Foods are always willing to help, and from their having persons with disability on their staff gives me confidence that they are respectful and inclusive. Finally, there is a wider check-out lane that seems to be designed for wheel-chair use, which I don't normally see at other stores / supermarkets, and I am very happy that Whole Foods was thoughtful enough to install it.

Both of the Whole Foods locations in Evanston have a great positive acceptance towards people with disabilities. The employees who work at Whole Foods are equally friendly with all of their customers, in some cases even more helpful to those who have a disability. In addition, Whole Foods provides seating area which is reserved specifically for individuals with disabilities.

As for working possibilities, Whole Foods offers positions to individuals with disabilities, integrating them into their employee team as much as possible.

I've taken the pace bus to Evanston by myself and have walked over to Whole Foods. When I've been to Whole Foods by myself, it hasn't been too hard to find the food I'm looking for. The first time I was at this Whole Foods by myself, I walked in and went grocery shopping. They have good signs in each aisle that tell where the different kinds of items are. Although I haven't been to Whole Foods for awhile, I was still able to find my way around the store. The employees at this Whole Foods are helpful and friendly. When I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza, the guy behind the counter let me take my time to order and decide what I want to get. Their pizza is ready pretty fast at the pizza place. If they're cooking the pizza, it's ready in about 3 minutes. When I was looking for toothpaste and other groceries, it wasn't too hard to find them because they've got signs that say where they are. They've got good food from this Whole Foods. Whole Foods has their deli meat already made. After I finished shopping for groceries, I went to the checkout line and paid for my food. The lady behind the counter was helpful and friendly. She made sure to give the right amount of change and she let me take my time to pay for my groceries. The lady also asked how my day is and I said that my day has been pretty good. After I paid for my groceries, I left Whole Foods, and then took the pace bus home. This Whole Foods is a fun grocery store to go to.

I was pleased to find a young man with a developmental disability working in the deli. I was pleased to find that Whole Foods gave him the opportunity to work in a position (other than just a bagger as most grocery stores do). I work for an agency that supplies job coaches to individuals with developmental disabilities and I know it can sometimes be difficult for our job developers to encourage employers to hire workers with disabilities. I commend Whole Foods on their decision!
