I was greatly surprised by the maturity of students and the questions they asked. They sounded like they really wanted to know about disabilities. Nobody asked "what's you're favorite sport" which is what most kids ask. On one hand those questions are great by it shows that they treat us like people who have a variety of broad interests but on the hand it's not really targeting what we taught them. They were wise beyond their years.

Disability Awareness:   Welcoming, Talked to me person-to-person, Asked me if I needed or wanted help, Friendly, Respectful, Flexible service, Physically accessible, Accessible Parking, It would be nice if there were a few more accessible parking spaces.

Great!
Great!

The disability awareness training at St. Matthias was excellent! We got a great crowd! The kids were very passionate about learning to interact and treat people with disabilties. It really made the training easier for us with so many bright kids that were willing to participate in the training! I loved getting great questions! Also, it was very nice that I got to speak with the staff and some students after the training! The staff was great, very welcoming and friendly! I would say the training was a huge success!

Disability Awareness:   Welcoming, Talked to me person-to-person, Friendly, Respectful, Flexible service, Physically accessible, Accessible entry to the school could have been better, but other than that, the staff and students were so friendly and welcoming!
