The Jurica-Suchy Nature Museum has an intimate atmosphere with a unique flair that engages and inspires all ages. From a tiny gnat to a baleen whale skeleton, the collection offers perspective on the diversity of life and the intricacies of nature.

The museum offers FREE life science education and outreach programs!

Guided group tours through the museum are offered for school groups, homeschool groups, scout troops, artists, senior groups, and other interested parties. Tours are generally scheduled during morning hours when the museum is closed to the public to allow an uninterrupted experience.

The museum also offers a life science outreach program including site visits to give engaging presentations tailored to class curricula or group interests. Presentations include hands-on activities involving museum specimens.

The Discovery Box Loan Program allows educators and parents to check out specimen kits. With more than 40 different Discovery Boxes to choose from, you can find the perfect educational kit for your needs. These kits are great for classroom use and are also available for nature centers, scout groups, child care centers, home schoolers, historical societies, and other groups seeking to learn more about our world's natural and cultural diversity.

Located on the 2nd floor of the Birck Hall of Science at Benedictine University, the Jurica-Suchy Nature Museum offers free admission and is open to the public.
