Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA) is an extension of nine park districts including Bloomingdale, Roselle, Carol Stream, West Chicago, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Winfield, Warrneville, and Naperville. WDSRA provides inclusive services at park district programs for individuals with special needs and also offers program exclusive to individuals with special needs. Program include summer camps, trips and special events, Special Olympics, sports, fitness, cultural arts, social programs and much more!
Lekotek is a program of WDSRA that provides therapeutic play session for the whole family to help children ages 0-8 years reach their developmental milestones. This program which includes siblings helps children achieve their goals through fun and interactive play. A toy lending library is included in the membership.
Synergy Adapted Athletics is a program of WDSRA that provides adapted sports to individuals with physical disabilities. Wheelchair basketball, softball, and track are just some of the sports offered.
