I also was here for a few presentations last year, and they both were great experiences. For one of them, I like how we had time after the presentation to walk around and see some of the animals. I remember coming here a few times when I was a kid, and it was great to relive the good memories I had here. The staff was very friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. At the presentation, they were very engaged and eager to learn.

The disability awareness training with the Cook County Forest Preserve at Brookfield Zoo was fantastic and a great experience! I was able to interact with the audience members about my background and they were interested in me getting involved in the FP. I enjoyed the training very much. The audience was very engaged in the training and found the role plays to be humorous. I appreciated that the audience was willing to participate in the role plays. Overall, the training was excellent!

The zoo does have accessible parking. Perhaps there could be more accessible parking, available parking spaces near in the forest preserve near tables and sheltered areas with tables.

I was recently at this zoo twice, and both were very nice experiences. The 2 events which I attended were pulled off very well, and all staff I met were wonderful. I'm definitely coming back here sometime soon, and I'd recommend others do the same.

Everybody whom we came into contact with was super nice and friendly. The only suggestion I would make is that on crowded days, there be an effort to seek out people who are visiting the zoo and see if they need access to something in particular. Interpreters or Transliterators for Zoo exhibits, for example.

Brookfield Zoo employs a group of individuals with developmental disabilities to clean their parking lot before the zoo opens each day. They also employ two individuals as landscapers. The supervisor is amazing with the employees - respectful, supportive, patient.
