This particular Burger King has not been the friendliest to people with physical disabilities. The doorways to the mens and womens bathrooms are only 23" wide. I didn't think they even made doors that narrow! This makes it impossible for anyone in a wheelchair to use the bathroom!
After writing to the owner of the Burger King, he said that since he hasn't remodelled since 1976 he is not required to make any physical changes to meet ADA guidelines. Wouldn't you think in this day and age that he would want to be accomodating?
Plus if someone were to go into the restroom area and then had a medical emergency the EMTs would not be able to get any kind of backboard or stretcher through that doorway to help move the person.

AND Especially since he is directly across the street from the Arlington Park race track and the train station!
The owner then encouraged me to try one of their other more modern restaurants in the area and sent me three coupons for free whoppers.
I would definitely discourage anyone from patronizing this particular Burger King - like that makes it all better!
