Great!
Great!

We spend every Thursday in the library. The staff has been very respectful and accommodating to us. They provide assistance to everyone who asks for it. And, sometimes, staff will ask if we need any help. We reserve a study room so that we can talk and work without disturbing others. We were able to get a tour of the library from Alan and he was very tolerant of our students and their questions. We also have a student who works at the library. The Oak Park Public Llibrary is very open to those with all kinds of disabilities.

This building is completly accessible and all staff assist individuals with disabilities. A staff member is the head of Oak Park's Universal Access Commission which meets monthly at the library. In Late July and also during August of 2009 the libraray has a special exhibit on its main floor celebrating the 19th anniversary of the ADA. Large elevators accomodate wheelchairs.
