I've ridden my bike to the Wilmette Police Department by myself. When I've been to the Wilmette Police Department by myself, the staff there have been friendly. When I was at the Wilmette Police Department by myself one time, I got my serial number on my bike registered. When I walked into the Wilmette Police Department, I walked up to the window at the desk and a Chief Communication Officer (CCO) was there at the window. I told the CCO that I was getting my serial number on my bike registered. The CCO had me sign a paper outside by my bike, but I told the CCO that I didn't know where my serial number was on my bike. The CCO was helpful to me when he told me that I could bring my bike inside if I wanted to. I then brought my bike inside the police station and the CCO was standing in the room where you walk in. The CCO was friendly by giving me extra time and he took his time to find my serial number on my bike. My bike was kind of dirty, so then the CCO then got a wet paper towel and a flashlight so he could look for my serial number and find it better. He had me help hold up the bike and then when he found the serial number, he wrote it down on a paper. He then filled out the rest of the paper. After that was filled out, the Chief Communication Officer gave me a copy, and gave me my Bicycle License sticker to put on my bike. After that, I left the Wilmette Police Department and rode my bike home. The Wilmette Police Department is a fun police station to go to.
