Terrible!
Terrible!

This is an annual event that occurs in January, and I have taken a group for years, now. I want to review this now, in hopes that somehow changes will be made for next year. This is an EXTREMELY difficult event to make in regards to accessibility issues. The distance from the parking lot to the event floor is prohibitive enough for anyone with serious ambulation issues. There are no wheelchairs readily available, and for the size of the crowds, the marked accessible parking is far from being enough. There needs to be a service (golf carts?) for the trek between the parking lot and the event floor. It's is probably a half mile walk, sometimes up hills. And once there, sitting is minimal/non-existent. Having my clients with disabilities kneel on the floor is painful.Accessible vehicles? In the back of the showroom. More walking. Needs work, Chicago.

Okay
Okay

We visited the auto show as a large group, with a few wheelchairs. Visually it was very nice, a lot to see. The aisles were very wide, but because it was so busy there wasn't a lot of room to maneuver around. The food court was okay, the tables were very large and a lot of people could sit together. The accessible restroom was a little small, for two or more people to help. Also, the toilet seat was very high. The ticket staff were nice. The drop off location was reasonable and accessible.
