I have not participated in the programs this organization has put on, but I have a friend who has. They seem to be very helpful and accommodating, and I like how they give people with disabilities opportunities they usually wouldn't have.

I recently became aware of this wonderful nonprofit, which provides recreation services to individuals who are often underserved by other recreation programs -- those with visual and physical disabilities. Although we have not directly used their services, I have spoken several times with the director, and I know the organization has a very good reputation. Among the sports they offer are basketball, bocce and curling. We are fortunate to have such a program here on the North Shore.
