The christmas trees were amazing and I liked the food court atmosphere. The macy's holidays events were fun so much fun. My favorite was writing a letter to santa claus. The walnut room has great food. Very fancy place. The very very big christmas tree was spectactular! LOVED IT!!!!

Two weeks ago our class, a hs transition program, went to the Walnut Room for lunch. One of the reasons for going to the Walnut Room was to have the opportunity to display good table manners and appropriate behavior in this type of setting. We also wanted to practice ordering within our budgets and tipping the correct amount based on our individual checks.

Even though we had a table of 14, which normally would require one check, our server was aware of our needs and graciously provided separate checks for us. She gave us plenty of time to place our orders. As we were leaving, we were each given a Walnut Room pen to remember our lunch on the 7th floor of Macy's.

Our entire party enjoyed this experience and we highly recommend the Walnut Room. We will definitely be making a visit back in the future.

Two Thumbs Up!
