I have been to this ,and the hackneys on harms, and never had the crayon stuff that the other reviewer had,of course it has been long time since i last been to this hackneys(somewhere in the 80's).I agree that it should not happed to someone that is as old as that one reviewer.I like ithis place ,and its easy to get to (on lake ave, east of waukegan rd)in glenview, the bus(pace I dont know what route.)goes by almost every day ,but who knows about sundays.Well good place to get a hackney burger.

I agree with the previous reviewer that it's best to avoid giving items intended for children to young adults with developmental disabilities. It's important to treat young adults as adults whether they have disabilities or not. Thanks for your best intentions Hackneys and hope this helps!

I visited this restaurant with two 18 year-old young adults who have Down Syndrome. This restaurant does a good job being welcoming, respectful, and speaking directly to all of their customers. I have one suggestion for improvement. After we were seated the host approached us with crayons and coloring sheets. Think about it. 18 year-olds do not appreciate the kiddie treatment. I suggest erring on the side of NOT bringing over the crayons.
