I had an appointment in the East Tower on Austin street. It was unclear where I, as a disabled person, could easily park to gain access. I first pulled up in the half circle driveway in front of the large East & West towers, but there was no valet parking, (I've never been to a hospital with no valet parking.) I parked down the street and walked to the building. The first set of doors in the front of the building were not automatic, and were too heavy for me to open alone with my wheeled walker. Other people entering the building had to hold the doors for me. Why would a hospital, which doubtless sees more disabled visitors than any other business, not have automatic doors?
