I love the food in Joy Yee, but there are something that needs to be improved in terms of the business's disability awareness. Firstly, the space of the restaurant is limited, so it would be difficult for people who use wheelchairs to access to the restaurant. Secondly, the servers are always busy, so they don't have to time to be attentive to every single customer. Thirdly, the door is very heavy, so it is difficult to open.

Disability Awareness:   Not physically accessible, Inflexible service, Rushed the person/people with disability, No Accessible Parking

I've been to this restaurant location a couple times before, and yesterday my tutor and I went again for lunch. The restaurant does have rather heavy doors and is a bit cramped. But the service as well as the food and drinks are very good. Yesterday when taking my order, for example, our server spoke directly to me and she was very friendly. Our meals came out quickly too.

Disability Awareness:   Welcoming, Talked to me person-to-person, Asked me if I needed or wanted help, Friendly, Gave me choices, Gave me extra time, Respectful, Helpful when I needed assistance or accommodation, Flexible service, Physically accessible, Other, a bit cramped though. Website mostly accessible with VoiceOver; don't know how it performs yet with other screen readers.

Nice Asian fusion restaurant in Evanston. At Joy Yee, you can enjoy authentic Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese dishes at a good price.

The doorway makes it difficult to get in and out of the restaurant, and the tables are all very close together. The waiters are accommodating but seemed to be in a hurry to get us in and out.

Disability Awareness:   Inflexible service, Impatient, Unwilling or unhelpful with assistance or accommodations

When dining in..
The chairs and tables are very close to one another, not allowing for ease of movement for wheel chairs, crutches, etc.
