Sweeney, Augustin and Associates (SAA) is a private practice specializing in the treatment of individuals with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and other developmental disorders. We offer Relationship Development Intervention (RDI®), Speech and Language Therapy, Block Therapy, Home Speech Intensives, Feeding Therapy, Myofunctional Therapy, Individual and Family Therapy and Educational and community based consultation for children, teens, and adults with special needs and their families. We have expertise in many secondary disorders associated with Autism, Asperger's syndrome and other developmental delays including Auditory Processing Disorders, Social Language Disorders, Oral and Verbal Apraxias, Oral Motor Delays, and Feeding Disorders.

Sweeney Augustin and Associates created an environment that is not only professional and extraordinarily competent but also a place in which the children and their families are completely respected and welcomed. The therapy is guided by research, clinical intuition, and feedback from families. I fully recommend them for families who are looking for fantastic therapy packaged in a warm, respectful environment.

From the moment i came here i knew this was the best place for my son. Honest and caring are but a few of the great qualities that this organization gives its children and families...the icing on the cake to a truly skilled and knowledgeable staff.

My son is 7 years old and has an autism spectrum disorder. He has, in addition, very delayed speech which has tested in the 2% percentile for his age group. SAA was recommended to us by a prominent pediatric psychiatrist as having an outstanding group of therapists. My son has been treating with SAA since 2007. He has made some steady gains. I have been impressed with the expertise, ethics, and compassion that the therapists at SAA display with each interaction with our family. They have always provided positive feedback to us, yet have never shied away from being candid about my son's enormous challenges as they relate to speech. We have experienced no turnover in the therapists; he has been treating with the same therapists since the day he set foot into the clinic. I would recommend SAA to any parent with a child with a speech problem.
