I've ridden my bike to Hackney's with a guest and have eaten at Hackney's. When I've been to Hackney's, it hasn't been too hard to order your food. I was there with another guest. When the waiter came by, he told us his name and then took our order. We ordered our drinks first. I got a root beer and then he asked us if we were ready to order our meal. I said I wasn't yet, so the waiter gave us extra time to decide what we want to get. When the waiter came back, I was ready to order. I got a Hackney Burger on pretzel bread and it came with french fries. After the guest and I took our order, Paul took our menu, and said he was leaving, so then a waitress named Lucy took his place. When the food arrived, we started eating it. I enjoy the food at Hackney's. They've got good customer service there. I ate at this Hackney's location a week before my birthday. After we finished our food, I ordered my dessert. What I got for dessert was a chocolate cake and the guest told the waitress it was my birthday month. When they found out, they asked me my name, and then I told them, and when Lucy came back, she came back with other waitresses and decorated the plate. They all sang Happy Birthday to me and then after that, I blew out the candles. Since it was my birthday month, the owner gave me a free Hackney's T-shirt. I enjoy this Hackney's location and I'm definitely going back to this location. After we paid the bill, we left Hackney's and then rode our bikes around town some more. Hackney's is a fun sit down restaurant to go to.

I agree with the other reviewers here. I was at this downtown location once, and I've been to two other locations. They have great customer service, and the food is wonderful! Outdoor seating is available at least at some of these locations.

I frequently eat here as they are very accomodating to the indivual and their special needs. The staff is very willing to make any kind of accomodation necessary. I am always pleased with their positive attitude and desire to make everyone feel comfortable. The bathrooms are large and totally accessible. Prices are also very reasonable ($15-$20). Service is relatively quick.

Hackney's one drawback is that it is popular and becomes crowded. Because it is small and can get crowded easily, it is better to get a table along the edges of the seating area.
