The shop was attractive and personal. There was a good variety of drinks and snacks. Cookies were fresh and delicious. The staff was helpful in presenting my options for teas. It was pretty easy to get wheelchairs into the shop and at the table, but we did have to push a few chairs in to get through the room.

This place has the greatest people working here. They are caring, patient and kind to us. We feel safe and relaxed here. The coffee is delicious, they also have teas and all types of drinks. When it's warm outside you can sit outside. They treat us with respect!

We went to this local coffee shop (which is not part of a chain, and has been around for years) last week for the first time. We were there for an "after-hours" performance by some young musicians who were giving a public performance for friends and family for the first time. Newport opened their doors for this private gathering, which they do now and then.

Besides the shop's willingness to provide a venue for some aspiring musicians, which is one reason I'm writing this review on JJ's List, the coffee house is accessible, and has great coffee and sweets. They apparently roast their own coffee, and when you walk into the place, the luxurious smell of coffee is everywhere. I looked up other reviews of Newport, and read that it's a favorite of coffee-lovers, and has had a large following of regulars for years.
