The Home Depot recently asked their twitter followers what their biggest career challenge was and then challenged them to answer with just one word. We at @JJsList responded with, #accessibility and forwarded along to them one of their business reviews.
They replied:
@JJsList Thank you! We believe in equality and strive to provide opportunities to all job seekers.

Through our work connecting businesses with individuals with disabilities for the benefit of both, we are always on the look-out for businesses who continuously raise the bar for disability awareness, and we think The Home Depot walks the walk. Looks like we aren’t the only ones. This reviewer likes them too!
And check out this story about The Home Depot’s commitment to employing people with disabilities. Ken Langone, one of the co-founders of The Home Depot, also founded Ken’s Krew. Through Ken’s Krew, The Home Depot employs associates with a variety of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Again, kudos to The Home Depot for leading the charge!
