JJ’s List was showered with plenty of love and enthusiasm by self-advocates with disabilities at Employment Works 2012 in Bloomington, IL on Jun 19.
With this year’s rally focused on employment, JJ’s List taught more than 100 self-advocates and agency staff why consumer self-advocacy is an important tool for building employment of people with disabilities in a tough economy. Through a fun and interactive workshop, participants learned how to use jjslist.com, a powerful Internet tool, to rate disability-aware customer service of businesses and to open doors to future employment.
