JJ’s List learns Google Analytics from The Analysis Exchange

Posted by on December 12, 2012 - 0 Comments

Analysis Exchange LogoJJ’s List just wrapped up our first project with The Analysis Exchange. This amazing organization taught us the right way to do web analytics. They provide free web analytics consulting to non-profits and NGOs around the world, and JJ’s List was one of them!

Google Analytics LogoThe process was easy. JJ’s List told the folks at The Analysis Exchange that we were collecting data about jjslist.com with Google Analytics but we needed to maximize what we could do with it. So, some enthusiastic web analytics experts (the mentors) and web analytics apprentices (the students) volunteered to help us figure it out. What a great eco-system for good!

The result? Student Jess Joseph and mentor Cleve Young donated many hours to help us identify parts of the website we should be measuring as key performance indicators, and taught us some advanced Google Analytics features to support our growth strategy. This has definitely marked the start of a long-term partnership for us. Looking forward to starting phase 2!

The evaluation of our project rated it a 10/10. We’re are delighted  we were able to provide a meaningful and fulfilling volunteer experience for both mentor and student. Thanks Jess, Cleve and The Analysis Exchange!
