Congratulations to Pam S-B. for joining the ComEd Energy Force Ambassador program! Pam will be our 2023 ComEd Energy Ambassador here at Search.

The ComEd Energy Force Ambassador Program teaches the community about energy efficiency and solar options. Events are hosted and attended throughout the year in the Chicagoland area by a group of adults with developmental disabilities, the ComEd Energy Force Ambassadors.

Pam and Tina, Community Education and Visibility Arts Division Manager, recently attended a training and enjoyed meeting the other ambassadors as well as learning different ways to engage the community in energy saving and solar tips. Pam is excited by the prospect of connecting to others in the community and learning more throughout the program.

She shared some of the skills that she would like to develop and grow this year. These include “organization, planning and public speaking skills.” She hopes the ambassador program will be an opportunity to improve her time management skills in a supportive environment.

Pam is looking forward to the events and especially the Black Women’s Expo where she hopes to support her community.  This is very exciting year for Pam and we all wish her the best of luck in 2023!
