Disability Online at JJsList.com

It’s late January.  Are you still trying to figure out what you are going to do with your 2017?  

Maybe you can take a cue from a famous person with a disability, Ed Roberts, and build your Voice for Change by writing reviews about the disability friendliness of your favorite business on JJsList.com.  Ed was an activist before online reviews were possible, and we think our disability website would have been a great place for Ed to advocate for disability-aware customer service and employment practices of businesses.

According to Wikipedia, Ed was often “called the father of the Independent Living movement”  and disability rights. He had a disability and was told “he was too severely disabled to ever get a job.”  So what did he do?  He got active:  He got admitted to college and started growing his training and awareness of how to use his voice to advocate for access to full community participation for people with disabilities.
