With August fast approaching and school bells preparing to ring I am reminded of how fast time flies and how soon my teen with a disability will finish high school and enter the adult world. My dream for Anna is for her to be as independent as possible and to live a happy, productive life. Isn’t that what all parents want for their children with disabilities?
One way to support your transitioning teen or adult child with a disability to reach this goal is to teach them NOW the skills necessary to get work, keep work and be successful at work. Participants at No Boundaries build skills in a real workplace environment where they receive support to self-organize, communicate, self-advocate, use technology correctly and safely and much more.
It’s never too early to start preparing for the future. Take advantage of the shortened summer sessions and sign up now!
