Great!
Great!

Earlier this week I took a trip out to Southern California and flew on this airline both ways. I had a great experience again. I was offered a wheelchair to go through my terminal's security line at O'Hare International Airport here in Chicago, so I took the person's offer. I can walk through lines just fine if and when given the opportunity, but the wheelchair helped speed up the whole process. The person assisting me was wonderful, as were all other airport and airline personnel both here and at the airport in California who assisted me. Both flights were on time and very pleasant. This airline gets it right in my books when it comes to disability assistance and awareness!

I've flown on United Airlines by myself when I've flown to Greenville, South Carolina and back. I flew from O'Hare Airport to the Greenville Airport. When my flight arrived, we were all in line to get on the plane. When I had my boarding pass, I gave it to the lady at the door, then got it back, went through the tunnel and got on the airplane. When I got on the airplane, I went to my seat number. Since there was a thunderstorm in Chicago that day, the plane stayed at the airport for a while until the rain stopped. While the plane waited on the runway, the lady on the airplane gave us all drinks. I also had snacks to eat on the plane. After the rain stopped and the plane was ready for takeoff, it sped on the runway and then I left Chicago. While I was on the plane, the lady gave us drinks again when we were flying to Greenville, South Carolina. The lady was helpful and friendly and she gave me extra time to decide what I want to get. I got an apple juice on the way there. When my plane landed in Greenville, South Carolina, I got off the plane, and walked into the Greenville Airport. While I was away from Chicago, I stayed at an away camp in North Carolina called Camp Talisman for three weeks. On the day I went home, I flew home on United Airlines and they also had good customer service on the flight home. When my flight arrived in Chicago, I got off the plane, and walked into O'Hare Airport. United Airlines is a fun airline to take.

Several years ago my parents booked me a flight on this airline to go see my uncle in Seattle. This uncle is my mom's brother. My parents and I got up early on the morning of my flight out of Chicago. They took me to O'Hare Airport and we got checked in. They told the ticket agent that I would be flying by myself and that I'm visually-impaired. She said no problem and summoned for assistance. Once the other person came to assist me, my parents said goodbye and we walked onto the plane. She helped me to my seat and helped me stow away all my items. Then 2 trainee flight attendants came and introduced themselves to me, and they told me where everything was on the plane. Once breakfast was served, one of them came back to help me set up my tray of food and all. They were wonderful. I experienced the same great service on my return trip to Chicago. Although the time spent with relatives was nice, I think my airline experience made the trip even better.
