On Saturday I went to Steppenwolf Theatre Company to watch The Burn, I thought it was an excellent experience for me, the people there were all nice and respectable to I learned whole lot of cyber bullying and this was a chance for me to shine for JJslist and for my theater class. I had a wonderful experience there. I love meeting the actor and actresses there. They were very kind and they let me talk to them after the play was over. I am hoping that I can go back to Steppenwolf Theater again. I have mention a suggestion to them that might consider in their next play that could lower their voices when they have to yell or slamming doors on stage. because might startle a person who has sensitive hearing. That might scare some people like me.

I came here again yesterday with the same sister and our parents to see a play entitled "The Herd." I had not even heard of this one prior to a few days ago when we received the Braille playbill, but it was very well done. The touch tour was also great. The descriptions were read by someone else, but he did a wonderful job. In addition, he gave us a full description of the stage during the touch tour.

I came back here yesterday with my mom and my sister who is visually impaired. We saw "Lord of the Flies" complete with live audio descriptions. The descriptions were read by the guy who did them when we came here over Memorial Day Weekend. In addition, the touch tour that took place prior to the play was great. We got to meet some of the actors, and we also participated in a short discussion after the play. My sister and I each received Braille playbills to keep.

On Thursday evening of last week, I took the train with a group of friends down to Steppenwolf to see a play. I once again got a Braille playbill. This time since that evening's performance was not audio-described, I got to try out a device which amplified the sound during the play. Although I preferred not to use this device throughout the performance, I'm glad I got to try it out and it worked great. We got the same wonderful service throughout the evening, that was provided during the previous time I was at Steppenwolf.

On May 27 of this year my sister who is visually-impaired and I went with our parents to Steppenwolf for a touch tour followed by a play complete with audio descriptions. Upon our arrival we were met at the door by a very nice lady who guided us to seats where the touch tour began. She and another person brought out props for us to touch. Then the audio describer for the play came out and introduced himself to everyone at the touch tour. We then went into the theater for some remarks by a couple staff members and some of the actors, as well as the audio describer. We also got to go onstage and touch some more props. The play itself was great and the audio descriptions were very well done.
