I was at Homer's recently and I noticed a young boy with a disability waiting for his dinner order. The Homer's employee was especially nice to this boy and went out of her way to make sure he had everything he needed. The boy was very comfortable and at ease and when he was ready to leave, he went back to say thank you to them. I was just waiting in line and happen to observe this wonderful interaction.

I've gone to Homer's by myself a few times. I've sometimes gotten food and ice cream, but sometimes I've only gotten food. Whenever I go to Homer's to eat lunch or something, I use my own money. It has sometimes been hard to count my change when there isn't a receipt. I usually just wait at the counter until my food comes. The guys who work at Homer's have given me time to think about what I'll get. Then after I get my food, I just find a table to eat at. The guys at Homer's have been patient, by not rushing me to order food. They've let me take my time. Homer's is a fun restaurant to go to.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST ICE CREAM ON THE NORTHSHORE...actually we do road food trips and in our opinion, it is the best ice cream in the country. The consistency is perfect. The choice of flavors is incredible. Coffee toffee is beyond heavenly...Noah is a chocolate freak and he loves the over the top chocolately flavor of the chocolate ice cream...
Seasonal treats like pumpkin and egg nog are wonderful as is the peach ice cream...
The quality of the food is also well above the typical fast food joint.

I've been to Homer's several times, both with friends and family. The other reviewer said it all. The staff is very helpful and helped me out when I was there with friends on a few occasions. This place is small but accessible, and the ice cream is delicious. They also have very good burgers and some other food to choose from.
